Food and drinks on board

Every vessel has its own food and drink package, ranging from ice and bottled water to an open bar or a chef on board. Each yacht's listing shows exactly what is included, and we confirm it in writing before you sail.

01Five tiers

Five tiers, one listing per yacht

To make comparing easy, we group the fleet into five tiers based on what each package includes. The number above each tier shows how many vessels offer it.

  1. 3

    Ice & water

Ice and bottled water. A good fit if you prefer to bring your own drinks and snacks, where the vessel allows it.

  2. 37

    Drinks & snacks

A set number of beers or sodas, water and snacks or seasonal fruit, as listed for each yacht.

  3. 3

    Lunch included

Drinks and snacks plus a lunch that is specified in the vessel listing.

  4. 7

    Open bar & food

An open bar with specified food; the details vary by vessel.

  5. 3

    Chef on board

A chef on board who prepares food during the charter, with drinks included as listed.

02Drinks and snacks

What the package usually covers

Most of the fleet sits in the drinks-and-snacks tier: 37 of 53 vessels.

That package includes a set number of beers or sodas, and the number changes from yacht to yacht: the Hipocampo 30 includes 12 drinks, while others, such as the Azimut 58, include 48. Ice and water come with most packages, and each vessel's listing spells them out along with everything else.

  • Drinks: water plus a set number of beers or sodas, as listed.
  • Snacks: seasonal fruit and, on many yachts, guacamole with chips and Mexican salsa; some add ceviche.
  • Lunch: in the "Lunch included" tier you will find, for example, fish or shrimp ceviche on the Marquis 50 and ceviche tostadas on the Azimut 80.

03Open bar and chef

Open bar and chef on board

7 vessels come with an open bar and food, and 3 have a chef on board: the choice for groups who would rather not think about anything except enjoying the day.

On the Custom 90, for example, the national open bar covers beer, tequila, rum, vodka, gin and mixers, along with snacks and lunch. On the Azimut 85, the chef prepares a three-course meal, with an open bar and towels included.

On the event catamarans, such as the Catamaran 72 and the Catamaran 90, the menu and bar service are set out in your quote, and we confirm in writing exactly what they include.

04Bring your own

Bringing your own food and drinks

On many vessels you are welcome to bring your own food and drinks, and the listing says so explicitly.

  • If the listing says "You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks on board", it is allowed on that vessel.
  • If the listing does not mention it, check with us when you book.
  • On vessels where the listing says so, catering can be arranged at an additional cost.
  • The "Ice & water" tier works well if you prefer to organize everything yourself; the Catamaran 47 is set up for exactly that.
  • Some vessels take upgrades: the Lagoon 38, for example, can add food or an open bar by arrangement.

05Diets and confirmation

Allergies, diets and everything in writing

If anyone in your group has allergies, is vegetarian or follows a special diet, tell us when you ask for a quote. We check what can be adapted on the vessel you choose.

  1. Check the listing

Each yacht shows its tier and the full list of food and drinks included.

  2. Tell us about your group

Guest count, children, allergies and diets. The Custom 103, for example, offers a seafood, steak or vegetarian lunch.

  3. Choose any extras

Upgrades, catering at extra cost or whatever you would like to bring yourself, where the vessel allows it.

  4. Get it confirmed

Quantities, menu, dietary adjustments and schedule reach you in writing before you sail.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

See all frequently asked questions

What food and drinks are included on a yacht charter?

It depends on the vessel. We group the fleet into five tiers: ice and water; drinks and snacks; lunch included; open bar with food; and chef on board. Each yacht's listing details what is included, and we confirm quantities and menus in writing before you book.

Can I bring my own food and drinks on the yacht?

Yes, on vessels that allow it. Each yacht's listing says so; if it does not mention it, check with us when you book. It is a good fit for the ice-and-water tier, such as the Catamaran 47, which is designed for groups who prefer to arrange their own food and drinks.

Which yachts have an open bar?

9 vessels come with an open bar, including the Custom 90, the Hatteras 61 and some of the chef-served yachts. On the event catamarans, the exact bar service is confirmed in your quote. You can see them all with the "Open bar" filter in the full fleet.

Are there yachts with a chef on board?

Yes, 3 of them: the Azimut 85, the Azimut 105 and the Custom 55. The chef prepares food during the charter, and drinks are included as listed for each vessel. We confirm the menu in writing before you sail.

Can the food be adapted for allergies or a vegetarian diet?

Tell us when you ask for a quote: we check what can be adapted on the vessel you choose and confirm it in writing. Some already include options; the Custom 103, for example, offers a seafood, steak or vegetarian lunch.

Can I add catering or upgrade the package?

On many vessels, yes. The listing shows when catering can be arranged at an additional cost, and some yachts, such as the Lagoon 38, take food or open-bar upgrades by arrangement. We send you the options and what they include in writing.

Do the included drinks contain alcohol?

In the drinks-and-snacks tier, the package includes a set number of beers or sodas, plus water. Spirits come with the open-bar vessels, such as the Custom 90. If your group includes minors, let us know so there are enough sodas and water on board.

Have a date in mind?

Tell us how many people are coming and what you would like to do on the water. We check which vessels are available and send their details in writing.
